Holbox is an island located in the north of the Yucatan Peninsula, is part of the ecological reserve of Yum Balam and is separated from the mainland by the Yalahau lagoon where flamingos and pelicans live. A true Mexican paradise with beautiful beaches of crystalline sea that are a regular refuge for dolphins and whale sharks. So if you plan your trip between the months of June and September, do not miss the opportunity to enjoy swimming with whale sharks.
Pick up at the hotel to head to Chiquilá. We will take a boat that will take us to the Yalahau watering hole to make our first stop and enjoy a swim in this natural beauty. The tour will continue to Isla de la Pasión, a small island of virgin beaches. We will be able to observe endemic birds, take a walk around the island and observe the sandbanks.
The last stop will be Holbox Island where a delicious lunch awaits us to recharge our batteries before touring the picturesque island. In addition to enjoying the stunning beaches, you will also have free time to explore the island, one of the best ways to get around is by bike! You will stop in many corners to appreciate the colorful murals and enjoy the authentic streets.
After the wonderful day, we will take a boat back to Chiquilá where our transportation will be waiting to take us back to the hotel.
